Problem is that the NC Launcher launches it, but then the NC logo is displayed on a blackscreen. The blackscreen stays on indefinitely. The black screen appears when the game starts normally.
Additional Problems Additional Problems: The computer is softlocked when this happens. The alt tab option displays the various windows, but the blackscreen is overlapping them and I'm not able to access other applications. Same deal with trying to start task manager to shut it down. To get rid of the softlock, I need to press the Windows key to sign off (which also closes all running programs). Logging in again takes me back to the beginning.
Other glitches: I've had the game intermittently go through the blackscreen , and finally get to the Aion splash. It's working perfectly from there after which it returns to the login screen. This is not a feasible alternative.
Hi! I'm also having the same issue. I was online and deleted config.ini in your Aion/bin64 file. However, this didn't resolve the problem. I then changed the name of the Aion.bin folder to a new name since the launcher tried to launch 32-bit instead of 64bit. The launcher was showing me that same black screen as the logo initialization.
However, if you've did rename it before, and it was still not working (you did not specify what exactly were you making changes to, could it be a mistake? ) There could be some other problem, which I'm not certain about. It worked for me.
I play from the netherlands and I have about 100 pings with exitlag. It's extremely playable, and I'm feeling competitive though perhaps not at the level of top1. But unless you are planning to be playing for more than 12 hours a day, you shouldn't be worried about it since you're not playing with top 1% anyways if that's the case.
