  • Due to the upcoming Earth Day event and the upcoming release of additional updates, a new feature has been added to Animal Crossing: New Horizons just in time to make celebrating those epic creations even easier. The Island Tour Creator for Animal Crossing: New Horizons is now available for download. It's a useful tool, and it makes it easier to share those beautiful homesteads with your friends and family. Here's how it works, for those who are interested:

The Animal Crossing: New Horizons Island Tour Creator's Method of Operation
After a year of operation, your island is bound to be looking pretty good right about now, so why not show it off? -With the new Island Tour Creator, it's even more straightforward to accomplish your goals. It's a limited-time web service that will be available for the rest of the year and makes it simple to upload video and screenshots to help you create trailers, posters, and other promotional materials for your constantly evolving project.

Before you get started, there is one thing you should be aware of. While the website is currently available, it has been specifically designed to function on mobile devices. In order to gain full access, you'll need to scan the QR code that appears when you first access it through this link. Once you have scanned it, it will open in your mobile browser and prompt you to choose your animal crossing bells. After that, you will be prompted to link your Nintendo account to this service, which you will do.

Following your successful login, a new screen will appear, and Tom Nook will once again take center stage to guide you through the various features of the program you're using. You can create a poster or a trailer and add whatever assets you want to make it stand out from the crowd. Take note that you'll need your screenshots either already uploaded to Twitter through account linking or already pre-loaded on your smartphone before you can use this feature. To give your template a more creative twist, you can import those assets into the template using the Island Tour Creator once it has been completed.

You can use up to three features in the trailer creation tool, which include Photo Op, Home, Neighbors, and Fashion, among other things. There are nine categories in total; choose your three favorites, upload the screenshots that correspond to them, and get to work.

The tool for creating posters is a little difficult to use. Some of my screenshots were not recognized by the program as coming from my Switch, so keep that in mind when taking screenshots with your Switch. The overall effect is that it's a useful tool, especially considering how many people have used it to put their own unique creative spins on the Animal Crossing world through clever edits of their own footage.

Despite the fact that Animal Crossing: New Horizons is one of the most stressful AAA games available, it is one of the most relaxing as well, thanks in large part to the soothing sounds of its music. Those who want to take their island getaway with them even when they're not playing the game can do so with the Animal Crossing: New Horizons soundtrack, which is available in both a standard and collector's edition.

We now have our first look at the soundtrack, courtesy of Nintendo Everything, which includes a tracklist, a release date, and an artbook that is included. With that said, it appears to be a Japan-only release for the time being. It is, however, available through the Amazon Japan storefront and Play-Asia, so obtaining it from a different source isn't that difficult to do. According to the website, the release date has also been pushed back from its anticipated launch later this month to June 9 instead, rather than later this month as previously announced.

The Animal Crossing: New Horizons Original Soundtrack (which is the big box seen above) retails for nook miles ticket, while the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Original Soundtrack BGM retails for $47.99, the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Original Soundtrack for $41.99, and the Animal Crossing: City Folk Original Soundtrack (Japan) retails for $29.99.
