Blue River's guards haven't had as much experience

  • "I don't know as we're not yet ready to expand. I would like to see us become an organization that is capable of doing that. I don't think that we're far enough," Bales said of the team's chances at winning an mut coins madden 22 area championship. "We've learned how protect better ... try not to make the errors that don't have to be forced. Therefore, we've got some learning to do. Certainly (a the sectional titles) is where we'd like to end up."

Although four consecutive sectional crowns could break the school's record and set a new record, it's clear that the Vikings still have an extended way to go towards becoming a clear postseason potential contender.

"I don't know since we're still growing. I'm hoping we'll become an elite team capable of doing this. I don't think we're there yet," Bales said of the possibility of the sectional championship. "We've to work on learning be better at defending ... Try not to have the turnovers that don't have to be forced. Therefore, we've got some learning to do, and certainly (a divisional name) is where we'd like to end up."

The Vikings will, in the end, take them as far as Madden will take them. She started the season an 1,000-point scorer, who averaged around a 16-point double-double in the past two seasons and will probably soon be over 1,000 career rebound.

Madden has been the most important element in Blue River's return to the postseason and Blue River's win on Tuesday night's 77-63 victory over Wapahani (4-2) was a clear demonstration of her importance. Madden scored 27 points, 12 of them in the 4th quarter that stopped the Raiders' comeback efforts, and was dominant in the paint throughout the game at both ends.

Madden is required to do more this season. Her role as mostly an interior player has now been expanded since she's now allowed to, at times, play in the perimeter and perform more shooting and playmaking.

Blue River's guards haven't had as much experience like they were in previous seasons and, therefore, in games where teams play an aggressive defense similar to Wapahani did, the 6-foot-1 Madden assists in bringing the ball back up when the point guard becomes locked.

Halfcourt offenses also run through Madden. Bales The goal of Bales is to ensure that the ball is delivered to her lower down so that she can score or kick-out shooters when defenses collapse. Madden is making lots of quick passes that has led to an all-time high of 2.5 assists for each game average so far.

"I appreciate (the added responsibility)," Madden said. "I am aware that sometimes I'm adept at getting the team moving so I'm sure that when we be able to get the ball moving fast and have me present, that cheap Mut 22 coins could help us get more motivation."
