So to alleviate some of that, the brains behind

  • With this week’s release of soccer sim EA FC 24, the game’s creators are now turning to Fut 24 Coins the community to help them make sure their player stats are as accurate as they possibly can be.

The game – of which you can read our EA FC 24 review here – of course uses a lot of real world player data in order to inform almost every individual player within the game, which as you can imagine is a lot of work, and even employs real world football talent scouts from time to time.

So to alleviate some of that, the brains behind the game are now also forming their own community team from passionate fans of the sport and the game to help them make decisions of changes they may need to make to players over the coming months as the season progresses.

It’s called the EA Sports FC Data Collective, and the description says those who sign up will have their suggestions “taken into account to help determine player attributes, appearance and other player team data as well as team data.”

It is, unfortunately, an entirely voluntary role, so there’s no money involved, but those who get to take part will get to have a role in shaping how the game plays over the course of its lifespan and influence the ongoing EA Sports FC database.

There’s over 6000 people already in the scheme, but new applicants are always welcomed. It should be noted though, that this data is for the general ability of each player, and not the individual week-to-week performance.

Those who are interested in signing up for the EA FC Data Reviewer program can do so here on the game’s official website. Who knows, maybe that buy EA FC 24 Coins player you think is always underrated might get a bit of a boost as a result of your input.
