If the team has time again altered the loot system just as it did in the first version of Diablo 3, then we're in trouble.
  
  In the book Blood, Sweat, and Pixels in the book Blood, Sweat, and Pixels, the chapter on the disaster of Diablo 3's launch tells the story of how a Blizzard developer played the game for hundreds of hours, before they discovered a piece of legendary loot. The loot system was fundamentally flawed that the excitement that comes from grinding all day, which was then followed by relief of actually receiving something of value, was broken.
  
  This was eventually fixed to that you could only have certain levels of loot that would work for your specific class, and also the rate at that early-game legendary items were dropped raised. Therefore, even if the legendary items you'd be getting didn't cause any problems yet, you could occasionally receive a slight dose of dopamine to keep your hands on the rope.
  
  When Diablo 2 Resurrected gets that right and features a similar loot system similar to Loot2.0 in Diablo 3, then we're already worried about just how long we'll be able to sink into the game. Diablo 3's disaster is arguably the best event that could have occurred to the series on a continual basis. When you combine that with the Immortal controversy, it appears like Blizzard offers a clear plan of how to avoid potholes if it's to remain at the top of the list of it's biggest fans.
  
  The Diablo community is vocal about what it doesn't like and has been doing so throughout the entire life of Diablo 3, so we're hoping Blizzard will take the feedback of those who have the privilege of playing large portions of the game before its release. Although we'd bet Blizzard doesn't like the torrent of leaked footage that seems to follow following one of these test results.
  
  One of the elements to Diablo 3 that is confirmed to return is the limited-time Seasons. These are post-game bits of content, which change the ways legendary items function and also remix the gameplay of the base game and add replayability to a game that's already replayable. Seasons were featured for a substantial amount duration in Diablo 3, so we're hoping they'll be prominent in Diablo 2 Resurrected.
  
  This seasonal trend can also set Diablo 2 Resurrected up to be another compelling Game Pass game, should it ever be shut down. A game like Diablo featuring solid gameplay is perfect to be a service that is designed for players to pop back into Live games in a short period of. But, with the game set to be released in June and the war for the future of Activision ongoing, this is one title that is very unlikely to receive its Game Pass treatment on day one, unless something major alters.
