casting a spell with an Elden Ring does not require a significa

  • On this page, we will walk you through the process of completing Elden Ring Stormveil Castle and getting to the boss fight against Godrick the Grafted.

After you have proven your mettle against Margit, the Fell Omen, you will be able to access Stormveil Castle. Your first order of business will be to approach the main gate and interact with the Site of Grace located directly next to it. There is no way to get in or out of here, so go through the doorway on the left to talk to a non-playable character. After speaking with them, we learned that there is a doorway running along the side of the castle that leads inside. Since we now have this information, let's go ahead and use it. Exit the room and climb the ruined wall to your right, crossing over to the opposite side of the room using it.

You will descend into a region that is covered in rocks and trees, and there is another Site of Grace located at the end of the path that is in the middle of this region. Engage in conversation with it, but watch out for the flying birds in the area. They can be difficult to kill due to the blades that are attached to the tips of their claws. You will find rocks that you can scale to the right of the Site of Grace, in addition to stairways that lead higher up the outer wall of the castle. If you continue after them, you will run into a group of hostile characters. Take them out, but watch out for those who might be nearby. They may find it simple to shove you to the edge of the ledge.

You are free to use the one and only route available to you to enter Elden Ring Stormveil Castle at this time. First eliminate the two foes that are in front of you, and then proceed to climb the wooden staircase. Be cautious up top because another group of foes will attempt to blow you up by throwing fire pots at the gunpowder in front of you and trying to blow you up in the process. Set them up to throw one, and once they do, quickly retreat to give yourself space to move forward.

After you have assassinated them, sprint in their direction and proceed in the direction that the enemy who was standing on the upper ledge was facing. You'll have noticed that you just walked by a locked door, and that's the door that needs to be unlocked. There is yet another explosive ambush waiting for you, so lure the enemy in front of you once more so they can detonate the gunpowder. After they have been dealt with, proceed up the staircase by rolling through the debris on the left side of the room. You will see a door leading into a very dim room to your right. Unfortunately, a powerful foe as well as the key we require is waiting for us inside this room.

We advise that as you enter the room, you get down on all fours and hug the left wall. If you can get behind the tall knight, you'll have an excellent opportunity to start the fight with a simple backstab. After you have vanquished your foe, you will be able to retrieve the Rusty Key. Leave the room, descend to the level below, and then interact with the door that's locked from the inside. We can move forward now that we have access to it.

Climb the ladder that is located inside all the way to the top, then proceed to the left until you are back outside. In the distance, you will see some buildings that are perched on top of large rocks; however, if you turn to your left, there will be another staircase for you to climb. Another powerful knight awaits you inside, this one armed with a spear. Kill it, then climb the wooden staircase to the next level. You only need to ascend to the next floor after the one you are currently on because the floor above you does not contain anything of interest. Follow the path that leads left to find the next Site of Grace.

After you have restored your health and refilled your Sacred Flask, proceed through the door to the left to leave this area. You will be walking along one of the outer castle walls when all of a sudden, large birds will fly out from behind the wall and begin throwing gunpowder at you. These barrels detonate upon contact, so you must avoid coming into contact with them. Keep running along the path in front of you, descend the stairs, and make your way across the rooftops, eventually entering a tower that has a gap in the middle of it. You will arrive at a ladder at some point in the future.

Just below you will find a knight who is patrolling the area and a less powerful foe who is holding a lit torch. It is recommended that you wait for them to pass by and then move as close as possible to the tower that you have just exited. Slide down the ladder as quickly as you can while they have their backs turned, and then start running in the direction you have been going. Walk through the room that has the fireplace that is lit, then take a right around the balcony that leads to the large room that has a portrait on the back wall.

Another knight is doing his rounds in the room that's ahead of you:You are now presented with a choice: you can engage them in combat and attempt to kill them in exchange for Elden Ring Runes, or you can scale the outside of the structure by using the wooden staircase that is situated over the wall to your right. No matter which path you take, you will need to proceed outside onto the wooden platform and then ascend the ladder that is located at the very end.

You need to quickly run to the opposite side and descend onto the platform that is directly across from where you were just standing

    • The hanging giant should now be on your right

    • You'll find a Treasure Chest if you go in the direction of the right, but you should keep going in the direction of the left to stay on the main path

    • You will now find yourself in the large dining hall that features the painting in the center of the room

    • An adversary with a very large number of limbs is likely to be found in this region

    • We recommend staying away from it for the time being

Take a left turn from the entrance you came in, making sure the large painting on the wall is facing you, and enter the room that is directly ahead of you. You have access to an elevator that, if you choose it, will provide a direct route to the Site of Grace that came before this one. You should now head back down to where you were just and enter the doorway in the back left corner of the room. Your health should have been restored, and the Sacred Flask should be full. You can see the main square of Stormveil Castle directly in front of you, and it is absolutely crawling with enemies.

Find the location of the Elden Ring. The Fog Door of Godrick the Grafted's Castle

Since you've already reached the central plaza of Stormveil Castle, the Fog Door that leads to Godrick the Grafted shouldn't be too difficult to find. But first things first: we have to deal with all of these enemies that are in front of us. When you are ready, make a sharp left turn and you will be able to avoid the first line of defense. Make an effort to entice them one at a time into following you so that you are not overpowered.

After they have been eliminated, proceed upward in the direction of the castle. If you see a larger foe sitting on the ground with a dog sitting next to it, then you will know that you are heading in the right direction. You'll find a Site of Grace in the room ahead of you if you climb the stone steps and then turn left at the top of the stairs. If you feel the need to do so, take some time to relax, and then proceed to the adjacent room to use the elevator. If you continue to follow the path that you come across around, you will find yet another Site of Grace just ahead of you. There will be some dangerous pots on your left.
