I'm aware that I have asked a lot of questions But I'm back! I've just reached 70 defence. Then RS gold my plan is to increase the three melee techniques to 70, and then 75 before stopping for time off. Att as well as Def are currently at 70 and Str is 65.
At 70 def, there are more options when it comes to armour. More specifically I'm thinking about changing my body armour. The current one I'm using is a Granite Body and in all truth, I'm not a fan of it, however, it does get the job done. What I'm trying to find out is Barrows armor worth it for training? I'm not the most wealthy (currently am just 1.2m) and it seems to be a bit wasteful for me to keep on fixing it when I'm not doing take part in PK, or any other similar activity.
Should you go with do you choose to stick with a Granite Body, or is there an alternative I'm not even yet aware of? Or is it worth investing into Verac's Brassard for instance? Barrow's armor is fairly good and is almost certain to weigh significantly less than granite, and some of it includes pretty good prayer benefits (not to mention that you'd want them).
In the long term, the repair is going to run more than the cost of the Bandos chestplate if you only frequently employ Barrows however it will last quite a long time, even when you don't engage in much combat. As a training tool, it's fairly good, and 15 hours of training is a good amount of time and experience. A must if aren't able to afford Bandos in the beginning, because the first 1 mil, and then a further 1 mil every fifteen hours is a reasonable cost.
A little bit of analysis suggests that a single body will cost 270k for repair at Bob. This should mean an approximate cost of Bandos Chestplate, 16 mil? I'm not sure how to determine the amount of repairs you'll need (mostly because I'm just not having a good day today) until you're at that from 270000 (or less, if you use POH standing for your armor) It sure is more than enough lives. This is bolded in order to keep me from ramblings to put your money into Barrows.
